Types of Physical Fitness

1. Aerobic fitness:
Aerobic exercises strengthen your heart and lungs. The term “aerobic” means “containing oxygen.” The goal of aerobic conditioning is to increase the amount of oxygen delivered to your muscles, allowing them to work for longer periods of time. Any activity that raises and maintains your heart rate for an extended period of time will improve your aerobic conditioning.
Stronger muscles can refer to either more powerful muscles that can perform larger tasks (such as lifting heavier weights) or muscles that can work for longer periods of time before becoming exhausted (endurance).
