Wakatakakage Atsushi is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Fukushima. He made his debut in March 2017 and reached the top makuuchi division in November 2019.
He wrestles for Arashio stable, where he is a stable mate of his older brothers Wakatakamoto and Wakamotoharu.

The three Onami brothers are the grandsons of the former Komusubi Wakabayama.
They were given their Shikona or sumo names by Oyutaka, the head coach of the Arashio stable, after Mori Motonari’s three sons in the famous Japanese parable “The Lesson of the Three Arrows” – Takamoto, Motoharu and Takakage.
The eldest brother, Wakatakamoto, has the highest rank of Makushita 7 and is the longest in sumo, debuting in November 2009.

The tassels are four different colours – white, black, green and red – all of which hold a symbolic meaning: The black tassel symbolises winter and the god Genbu, the snake encircled God of the North and god of water. The green tassel symbolises spring and the god Seiryu, the dragon God of the East.
