How Much Did Colby Covington Make:

While the third UFC PPV of 2022 did not feature a title fight, the Main Event of UFC 272 did feature a grudge contest between erstwhile allies Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal.

On the main card, there were knockouts and crazy fights that went to a decision. Many people have been wondering how much Colby Covington made after his unanimous victory. Take a look at the complete UFC 272 payouts from Saturday’s fight.

The majority of UFC Pay Per View is associated with heroic battles. Very few battles in the past have been the subject of a paid program without a title line.

These unusual exceptions include limited fighters such as MMA stars Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Covington vs Masvidal now joins that select group with the UFC pay-per-view title, while the title does not.

Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal:

UFC 272 Payouts: How Much Did Colby Covington Make, Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal

Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal’s blood feud has culminated in a premeditated performance from Covington, who smothered and controlled Masvidal for the majority of the 25 minutes they had to lawfully hurt each other.

In other words, there wasn’t much of the kind of violence one would expect from two people who purportedly loathed each other as much as Covington and Masvidal did before their televised battle.

The UFC even decided it was important enough to make a PPV headliner without a title on the line, something they’ve only done in recent years when Conor McGregor is involved.

Unlike Covington, it is difficult to trace where Masvidal goes next. Masvidal’s positive moments against Covington were few and far between, although most would admit that Covington was a poor stylistic matchup for him.

However, Masvidal’s troubles hold back his last three encounters as there were not many bright moments in his fight with Kamaru Osman.
