Kevin Durant said he wanted to apologize to referee James Williams after questioning his calls and getting two technicals in Tuesday’s win over the Knicks leading to his fourth ejection of the season.

“I was being an (expletive) last night. I was being a jerk,” Durant told reporters at practice Wednesday. “Wish I handled that better, obviously, but it was kind of the heat of the moment for me. I could be better.”

Biography:

Kevin Schwartz grew up in upstate New York before moving to Arizona in his early thirties for a warmer climate. A sports buff, Kevin plays tennis and basketball with his kids. Kevin lives in Tucson with his family.

News:

He is currently a researcher at the Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague where I focus on Iran and the Persianate World.

Previous positions include Kluge Fellow at the US Library of Congress, Distinguished Visiting Professor (Class of 1955 Chair in Middle East Studies) at the United States Naval Academy, where I taught courses on the history and politics of the Middle East and Iran, and Visiting Scholar and Social Science Research Council (SSRC) Postdoctoral Fellow for Transregional Research at Roshan Institute for Persian Studies at the University of Maryland.
