“To be honest, I’m only pain-free for maybe two, three weeks now,” said world number 12 Alexander Zverev after losing his first ATP match since rupturing ankle ligaments at the French Open in June.

Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic defeated the German on Saturday at United Cup 6-4, 6-2. Surgery was performed on Zverev to mend his damaged ligaments.
