The WTA Bad Homburg Open 2022 is a women’s professional tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts at TC Bad Homburg in Bad Homburg, Germany from 19 June to 25 June 2022.

It is the second edition of the Bad Homburg Open and is classified as one. WTA 250 event on the 2022 WTA Tour.

The main draw will begin on Sunday, June 19, after the qualifying rounds on Saturday, June 18. Next week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, respectively, the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final will all take place.

The tournament takes place at Bad Homburg in the Hochtaunuskreis district in the state of Hesse, Germany. Former World No. 1 and three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber, one of Germany’s most successful athletes, is the tournament ambassador. She also played a major role in the set-up of the event.

On Saturday, June 25, the singles final will start at 1:30 pm local time, followed by the doubles final.

The total prize money for this year’s edition is $251,750, with the winner leading up to €15,922 and 280 ranking points.
