At Skyline, Shane van Gisbergen came upon a lagging Macauley Jones while driving quickly.
Before the two made collision, he attempted to turn around the outside, which changed to the inside at the following bend.
The collision is currently being looked into.
Jones’ Commodore has significant rear-end damage. The automobile has hit the wall twice already today.
Jones dropped to 22nd place, while Van Gisbergen finished the session in fourth place.
