The Paris Marathon, Europe’s biggest and one of the world’s best marathons, will return on Sunday 3rd April 2022 (confirmed date). The route starts on the iconic Avenue des Champs Elysees and the finish area is on Avenue Foch nearby, close to the Arc de Triomphe.

Paris Marathon 2022: Start Time, Route, Elevation, Tracker
Start Time:
The starting line for the Paris Marathon is on the Avenue des Champs-lysées. Runners head down and around the Place de la Concorde before turning right at Rue de Rivoli.
The route then passes the famous Louvre, outside the Place de la Bastille and heads towards the Bois de Vincennes to Boulevard Sol.
A wide loop of the Bois de Vincennes returns runners to the middle of the city and the Rue de Charenton, halfway.
Route:
- 7km on the right side of rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.
- 12.8km on the left side of route de la Pyramide.
- 17.7km on the right side of avenue de Gravelle.
- 22.8km on the left side of avenue Daumesnil.
- 27km on the left side of quai des Tuileries.
- 29.9km on the right side of place de Varsovie.

You can select the type of the event: ultra-marathons, marathons, half-marathons, competitive or non competitive races.
You can also filter only events having the final ranking file, or select the nation, and even a range of dates.
The marathon route leads to most of the world-famous Paris landmarks, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Bastille, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Eiffel Tower.
