Every year, around 800 boys and girls teams are invited to the Jefferson Cup, while approximately 500 teams are denied admittance.
The age groupings range from 11 to 18 years old. In 2014, 461 girls’ teams and 401 boys’ teams were admitted.
Jefferson Cup 2022 Schedule
The U9-U14 Boys Weekend will kick off the famous competition on March 12-13. The U9-U14 Girls Weekend (March 19-20), the U15-U19 Girls Showcase (March 25-27), and the U15-U19 Boys Showcase will all take place after that (April 1-3). Around 400 teams will compete throughout the four weekends.

Jefferson Cup 2022 Accepted Teams
The Jefferson Cup will be held in 2022, and over 1,600 teams have been accepted. More than 1,600 teams have been accepted to play in the Jefferson Cup in 2022, which will take place over four weekends.
Boys and girls division brackets have been set for the U9-U19 age categories. The U9-U14 Boys Weekend will kick off the famous competition on March 12-13. The U9-U14 Girls Weekend (March 19-20), the U15-U19 Girls Showcase (March 25-27), and the U15-U19 Boys Showcase will all take place after that (April 1-3). Around 400 teams will compete throughout the four weekends.
The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), Girls Academy, MLS NEXT, US Youth Soccer National League, and US Club Soccer National Premier Leagues (NPL), among others, have admitted teams into the event.
The top brackets have already been disclosed on social media. The Championship Brackets of the Jefferson Cup feature great clubs from all across the country, including the East Coast, Texas, the West Coast, and many areas in between.

Jefferson Cup 2022 Brackets
Top brackets and U16-U19 Showcase games will continue to be played on some of the country’s best natural grass complexes, including Striker Park and West Creek, with turf field back-ups in the event of inclement weather.
The Jefferson Cup offers some of the country’s best natural grass field complexes, and in 2022, the event will have a total of 30+ turf fields, essentially ensuring complete tournament play regardless of the weather.

Coaches will be able to pick up profile booklets and coach gifts at both West Creek and RiverCity Sportsplex.
All college coaches will be offered snacks and meals at both venues throughout the weekend. We are not allowing coaches to hang around inside the coach’s tents due to social distance and safe COVID procedures.
