What time does Monday Night Football start?

Monday Night Football begins at 8:15 p.m. ET/5:15 p.m. PT. For the 2022 NFL season, there are a few exceptions:

  • The Tennessee Titans take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 at 7:15 p.m. ET/4:15 p.m. PT. PT
  • Week 2 kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT with the Minnesota Vikings at the Philadelphia Eagles. PT
  • The Week 11 game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals kicks off at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
  • Monday Night Countdown, ESPN’s pregame show, begins at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

What channel broadcasts Monday Night Football?

Monday Night Football is shown on ESPN, but a few games will be simulcast or broadcast on ABC and ESPN2.

Three games in the 2022 Monday Night Football schedule will be televised on both ESPN and ABC:
