The Jacksonville River Run, which was formerly known as the Gate River Run (GRR), was first conducted in 1978. Jacksonville, Florida hosts an annual 15-kilometer road race each year.

Since 1994, it has served as the US National 15K Championship, one of the top running competitions in the country. The race has received high marks from Runner’s World Magazine for the past 20 years and draws both serious competitors and casual runners in large numbers.
Registration:
Wave One has 5 zones. Runners will be placed in one of the colored fields (yellow, blue, red, red, orange and black) based on the qualifying times submitted during registration.
To qualify for this wave you must submit a qualifying time of 10 min/mile speed and overdrive during registration. You can use previous year GRR timings to qualify, but proof must be submitted at the time of registration.
