Contract:
The Panthers will contribute $5 million, the Browns will cover $9.5 million of Baker Mayfield’s 2022 salary, and Mayfield has agreed to take a $3.5 million pay cut to help the Panthers.
Mayfield does, however, have an opportunity to recoup that cash through rewards.
Injury:
The Panthers suddenly had a full complement of quarterbacks Thursday after being down to two the previous week.
After less than two weeks and an ankle injury against the 49ers, Baker Mayfield returned to practise.
Despite his limited participation on Thursday, his wearing of a uniform and helmet and participation in exercises represented a considerable increase in workload. After working out on the side on Friday, he was inactive against the Rams last week.

Wife:
At Calamigos Ranch in Malibu on July 6, 2019, Baker Mayfield wed Emily Wilkinson.
The couple spent a year preparing their outdoor summer wedding and hired Bluebell Events to design a beautiful, vintage-inspired event.
The couple stated in an interview that they love the outdoors and that Calamigos reminded them of home. The California wedding was absolutely stunning.
